We’d like to thank all of you who visited our room at The Home Entertainment Show 2004 and made our first high end audio show a great success! When the dust settled, more than 1000 people came to hear our system, far more than we had hoped for. Kudos to our partners, Gilbert Yeung (Blue Circle Audio), Kam Leung and Roger Kwong (Focus Audio), and Audience, all of home made this show possible for us.

Sonic Spirits is proud to announce that we are now an authorized dealer for Dodson Audio! Ralph Dodson is a retired scientist from the ‘secret’ black box division of General Dynamics. He has spent at least half of a lifetime designing digital circuits for warplanes and missiles as well as space rockets. He now dedicates his brilliance to designing what some audiophiles consider to be the finest digital audio products in the world.
We are pleased to have the Dodson Audio DA-218 Cryogenic Digital Processor as a new addition to our demonstration system. The DA-218 is a statement product, throwing down the gauntlet to challenge newer digital formats such as SACD and DVD-A with stellar red book audio CDs. It was reviewed last year in Ultimate Audio:

As some of you know, Sonic Spirits has participated in a monthly gathering of NY/NJ area audiophiles which was originally organized on Audiocircle.com (check out the “NY Audio Rave” circle on that site). As a “house warming”, we will be hosting the June gathering at our new location. If you are interested in attending, please send us an email (info@sonicspirits.com) for details. The date of the next meeting is Saturday, June 19th from 1-6pm. The proposed theme for this gathering will be to compare a number of “modified” cd players, including units modified by Audience, Dan Wright, Alex Peychev, and others. For those who will be coming from New York and need assistance with transportation, we can help make arrangements!
